Cranswick is a progressive IT and consulting organisation that has been working in the SYSPRO supply chain arena for 23 years.

Cranswick expanded into the interactive whiteboard and educational software arena and is the sole distributor for Triumph Board in Southern, Central and Eastern Africa. Triumph Board offers an array of award winning interactive whiteboard technologies with European quality at very competitive pricing. All packages come bundled with educational (RM Easitech), annotative (TB Comenius) and handwriting recognition and impressive free-form calculator (MyScript Stylus) software packages.

The Triumph Board range includes a Multi Touch LED LCD Series to suit all kinds of applications for classrooms or meeting rooms. The IR LED optical technology enables six finger touch, three/six users to write and draw simultaneously. Portable Slim technology can transform any whiteboard into an interactive whiteboard. Triumph Board also provides a range of audio-visual presentation products to suit all types of applications including Projectors, Instant Assessment Systems, Wireless Tablets and Digital Processing Cameras. The projector range consists of short-throw projectors, ultra short-throw projectors as well as the unique 10 Touch Multi Touch projector using laser technology which eliminates the need for an interactive whiteboard completely.

The head office in Johannesburg provides for the perfect gateway for distribution throughout Southern Africa and has developed a network of installation partners throughout the major centres of Southern Africa.

CRANSWICK WMS

Cranswick took the decision to specialise within the intelligent warehouse space, and the flagship product Cranswick WMS is the successful culmination of many years developing a generic product that is simple enough to tailor for any variety of configurations, but yet sturdy enough to enforce the exacting rules often required by busy and complex warehousing environments.

The complete solutions not only incorporate the software, but the comprehensive range of components required for a successful implementation, including wireless networking, bar code printing and labelling, scanning (involving various scanning techniques such as voice solutions), and the in-depth knowledge of SYSPRO workings provide for an all-encompassing answer that may be implemented quickly and neatly.

Essentially, as one may glean from the factsheet below, the WMS from Cranswick is very advanced, totally paperless and, via the Dashboard, gives the warehouse manager up to second information as to every aspect of the environment.  It is used in BIDVest, Hudaco, Lithotech etc.  Moreover, because it only runs on SYSPRO, there are no interface files, no synchronisation routines.  The data is only SYSPRO.   

The implementation timescale is very short.  A recent case study shows a one month implementation, from start to finish, for a 50 user WMS site.  The WMS also caters for expiry dates, lot traceability and serial, elements which may be vital to your business.
